This is only the second of this kind of post I’ve ever made, but I honestly just wanted to ask you all what your reading right now so let me know in the comments!
What book did I just finish reading?
A Court of Mist and Fury!!
This book is GOLD! Plus Rhysand is probably the character I’ve crushed on more then any other in any book ever. Well except maybe Rikkard Ambrose from Storm and Silence, but that’s a discussion for another day.
Full review to come!
What book am I currently reading?
The Dead Inside
This book is taking my insides and mushing them into little insignificant pieces of pulp. The Dead Inside is a hard book to read. The events that take place are inhumane and cruel. I both can and can’t believe that Straight Inc. existed. This is one of the most important books I’ve read so far this year. Shedding light to these atrocities is so necessary no matter how sick to the stomach it makes me.
What I will be reading next?
Freeks by Amanda Hocking
After The Dead Inside I’m going to need something lighter to settle the dark spots. Freeks is a decision to cleanse my mind so I don’t want to yell at characters (actually real people) that I can’t do anything about anymore.
Thanks for reading! Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
-Till next time!
Not your genre probably.. I’m on the blog tour for The Trophy Taker and Sleep Tight, both police procedurals/thrillers. I’m going to read a romance novel soon though, I think I might be in need of a change soon..

I haven’t really read any police procedurals so I don’t really know what I would think of them, but weirdly enough I love crime tv shows like bones and blindspot and others. For some reason I’ve just never tried reading that type of book.

The Dead Inside sounds pretty intense! I’m currently reading Uprooted by Naomi Novik. I hope you have a great week of reading!

I’m currently reading Devil At My Heels by Louis Zamperini. Biography is my favourite genre, and this book has completely sucked me in. When I wake up in the middle of the night, I actually have to read something else or I won’t be able to fall back asleep. I just keep turning pages.
Great post, enjoy the week!

I looked that up because I’ve never heard of it before, but that sounds amazing! That kind of story is usually the most astonishing kind. I’m definitely intrigued by it.

The book is amazing, I’m almost done and its my top 3 biography for sure. There is a movie on it as well but it’s not that great. It leaves out 80% of the book, and the stuff it leaves in is poorly executed or Hollywood fabrication.

I’m halfway through Pride and Prejudice (and absolutely adoring it) and I think my next read will be one I found at the library yesterday that immediately caught my eye – a historical fiction called Star Sand!

I’ve seen the movie pride and prejudice, but I’ve never read the book and I’m kinda sad about it. However, I’ve never heard of Star Sand so I hope you enjoy it and I’d love to hear what you think of it when you finish it!

Good to hear you enjoyed ACOMAF! I read the first book last year, but decided to put the series on hold until more books are published… There is no way Maas will have me pining over unpublished sequels of TWO series. đ I’ve heard great things about Freeks! I hope you will enjoy your books this week and happy reading.

I like this! Did you create this? I’ve never seen anyone do this kind of thing. I’m currently reading The Accident Season and listening to A Psalm for Lost Girls đ

Nope I definitely didn’t create this. I see a lot of bloggers do WWW Wednesday and I decided to do a variation on that. The Accident Season sounds so cool! I haven’t heard of A Psalm for lost girls but I’m curious about what it is about.

The Goodreads synopsis for Psalm for Lost Girls is good and pretty much all you need to know. I think the more blind you go into it, the better. I’m actually listening to the audio book and do recommend it đ
