Every year Goodreads keeps track of your reading progress and creates a beautiful display of all the books you’ve read at the End of the year. This is long overdue, but none-the-less here is my 2017 year in books!
Well it seems that I read quite a bit in 2017. Far more then in 2016 that’s for sure and with 22 books read so far this year already I think I’m on my way to making this following year even better!

I take screen shots from my phone and then crop them. After that I just upload them in order and it looks pretty seemless.

I read 98 books last year – so we were quite close! My goal is lower this year (25 currently) so that I feel less pressure this year and just read the things I feel drawn towards. Hopefully both our years are just as great this year!

So much cover love for your 2017 books. A lot of those are on my TBR. 22 books already this year is amazing! I think I am at 19 only. I’ll get there. Happy reading!

I’ve been slowing down on my reading lately trying to find a better balance in my life, so there is going to be a pretty big slow in how often I finish books, but I feel like it’s a little bit more practical this way.

I know right now I’m at 9 and my goal for the year is 40. Will have to see if I even get that close.

I’m excited for this year because I set my goal for 65 and I’ve read 24 so far! Though my reading has slowed a bit recently

My reading varies each year, I’ve discovered. I set an amount of books to read each year, but always go at my own pace anyway. But it’s always interesting to see how many books you do end up reading by the end of the year.

I pick up whatever I need to read for Netgalley and then I pick two physical books off my shelf to read every month.

The book I absolutely despised reading last year was The girl who wasn’t dead. I read it in its entirety because I wanted to see if it would redeem itself at the end, but it only kept getting worse!

“Here we are” it’s a book that compiles writings about feminism and I feel like I learned a lot from it.
