One of the things in my life I have always wished I was good at was being able to draw. I grew up being known as someone who was bad at it.. hopeless even, but after encouragement from some special people in my life I gave it a shot. A bit later I decided to take on this 30 day challenge. I gotta say I’m proud of how things turned out!

At the end of this challenge I am surprised at how fast I improved. There are certainly pieces I drew that I love more then others, but I’m just really proud that I got to this point at all. Childhood me is so happy at the moment. She’d be incredibly happy with how far I’ve come.

This is such a great idea and you did an amazing job! I really can’t draw but this is something that I think would be fun to try.

That’s what I said before I started this challenge. I sucked at drawing immensely.. I was surprised how quickly I started to get better just drawing with reference images in front of me. It’s such a fun challenge and I’d love to read it if you do decide to do it for yourself! Just let me know.

Did you say you weren’t talented? 🤔 These are pretty impressive Tiana! I think my favs are: Pennywise, Pooh & Co, the sunflower/flag, Scooby-Doo, Robin Williams, and the Grinch.☺️

Aww thanks! It was fun for me to do this and realize that I could create some thing I was proud of artistically.. I felt terrible at art for a very long time.

Fabulous to see how much you achieved. I had a similar –invaluable!–experience over lockdown when a friend started a morning scribble group on WhatsApp and now I’m putting together a lockdown diary of the results.
