The Raven Writer’s Accountability Club Announcement!

Hello everyone! I am so excited to announce that I am opening a Writer’s Accountability Club along with a wonderful friend and fellow blogger Phoenix!

Any writers that want to join on in are Welcomed!

Once a week we’ll be posting on our blogs about our writing projects. What our writing goals we’re for that week. How our week went and if we accomplished our writing goals for that week. As well as what our goals for the next week are.

If you are currently working on writing a manuscript and need a bit of encouragement and cheer then this club is for you! Just write up your own post and link back to me or Phoenix and we’ll comment our support!

My Current Project

At the moment I’m writing a F/F ya paranormal romance horror and I’m having a ton of fun with it! As it stands now I have 3,000 words written and it’s very much in those early figuring out what’s happening stages. I’m getting to know my characters through the process of writing them and as it stands I have a good idea of where I want the story to go going forward.

My Goals

In the next week, I am hoping to write 500 words towards this project every day. It feels like a bite size amount that I can work towards and get a decent bit of the story moving forward by the end of the week. Getting my novel to 6,500 words by the end of the week is my main goal.

A Word About the Club

I’ve always loved the idea of writing alongside others and supporting each other through the crazy process that is writing! Your goals don’t even have to be towards a novel, but towards an essay or a script or a play you wanna write. At the end of the day, the goal is to state what you want to do and go for it the best you can knowing you have a whole community of people cheering you on. If you guys wanna partner up for critiques among yourselves if your working on revisions go for it! Write about your experience and partnership in your posts! This club is pretty loose and the ultimate goal is to have a positive safe space for writers to support one another on a journey that is often taken alone.
